Putting the Service-Profit Chain to Work The purpose of this article was to analyze the service-profit chain and to discuss the service-profit chain audit. The article mainly used customer satisfaction surveys and employee turnover rates to develop the data. According to the article, the service-profit chain establishes relationships between profitability, customer loyalty, and employee satisfaction, loyalty, and productivity. The links in the chain are as follows: Profit and growth are stimulated primarily by customer loyalty. Loyalty is a direct result of customer satisfaction. Satisfaction is largely influenced by the value of services provided to customers. Value is created by satisfied, loyal, and productive employees. But now, I view everything differently, Running has helped me visualize setbacks optimistically and see each failure as an opportunity. And now that my running class is nearing its fateful end (of which I hopefully pass), I ask myself this What now? Now that we finished our final 10 kilometer finals, I figured that I muster up all that I learned, both technically and emotionally, and gear myself up for the upcoming conquests I would like to face, the next levels- 16 and 21 kilometer runs. American Sign Language Emily Dickinson and Uncle Walt Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman are two of literatures greatest innovators, they each changed the face of American literature. they are also considered one of literatures greatest pair of opposites. Dickinson is a timid wreck loose. While Whitman was very open and sociable, Whitman shares the ideas of William Cullen Bryant, everyone and everything is somehow linked by a higher bond. Both Whitman and Dickinson were decades ahead of their time, sharing only the universality of their works. Whitmans works always express his feelings of equality towards all mankind For every atom belonging to me as good to you(Whitman 347). Whitman exemplifies the American values of equal opportunity. Uncle Walt always sympathized with the common man because that is who he is, a common man. Whitmans works often express his love for himself I celebrate myself, and I sing myself, and what I assume you shall assume(Whitman 347). Whitmans bold statements are one of many reasons that Uncle Walt has become so popular and so very universal. Walt Whitman has the fortitude to say what every person has on his or her mind. Whitman often writes about his feelings in a list or catalog, then he would constantly revise his it. Whitman would never use rhyme scheme or meter he expressed his feelings, the spotted hawk swoops by accusing me, he complains of my gab and my loitering. I too am untranslatable, I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world.(Whitman 359) Emily Dickinson on the other hand did not have the fortitude to directly address her problems. She always addressed herself through her poetry. Heart! We will forget him! You and I tonight! You may forget the warmth he gave- I will forget the light(Dickinson 374). Instead of talking and thinking out her problems she puts her emotions into her writing, creating literary works of art. Dickinson uses apostrophes to address herself to contemplate her emotions. Dickinson often used nature to express her feelings of longing and love if you were coming in the fall Id brush the summer by with half a smile, and half a spurn, as housewives do, a fly(Dickinson 376). Nature is a reoccurring theme in many of her works. The metaphors the she uses help the reader to relate to her emotions and problems. Walt Whitman often uses the Bible in his works while Dickinson felt that no one had to tell her how to worship. The styles of Whitman and Dickinson will always have their own place in history. Although they are both notably popular and universal, they were also completely opposite. In conclusion great minds do not think alike they think for themselves. Outfoxed essays In the film Outfoxed, Robert Greenwald tries to portray FOX as a consrvativly biased network. In doing so, Mr. Greenwald himself made a film completely favoring liberalism. Mr. Greenwald attempts to portray the FOX Network and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, as friends to the Republicans. However, in my opinion, all Mr. Greenwald does is show how liberal he is himself and leads me to believe that his film, like Farenheit 9-11, was simply made to slander the Bush administration. Mr. Greenwald does have a lot of evidence to back up his claims. He uses the interview of a smartass, disrespectful kid with Bill OReily as proof, as well as Mr. OReilys debates, that Bill is a die hard right winger. He uses disgruntled ex-employees testimony as proof that FOX is biased behind the scenes. He also employs memos to anchors as proof, showing that the desire of the network to put emphasis on certain topics makes them a one sided unbalanced network. Who is Mr. Greenwald to decide what is Fair and Balanced when he himself makes an extremist left wing film? Nobody, that is who. The only facts he has are the hersay of ex employees and documents as believeible as those used by CBS recently. In my opinion, the bias he is trying to show on FOX is only cancelled out by his own bias. Mr. Greenwald has made a number of films portraying his political views as facts. Mr. Greenwald never worked a day for FOX, so how can he possibly know for certain that what he was told is true? I am also willing to put money on it that he never served a day in the military so how credible are his Uncovered truths about the war with Iraq? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I find it hard to believe that someone is biased based on an equally bias film. And who in their right mind would put their faith in the guy that made X ...
